Website privacy notice
How we handle information submitted through this website.
Who is responsible
MR-COM Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (MR-COM Kft.), 1188 Budapest, Póth Irén u 67/b, Hungary, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact us at info@mr-com.org.
Information we collect
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional company name, service selection and project description. We also store a submission reference, timestamps and internal follow-up notes. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Technical requests include an IP address and request information used by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the website. The enquiry service uses a hashed, time-limited identifier derived from the IP address to limit repeated submissions.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to respond to your request, discuss project requirements and manage business follow-up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and maintaining the security of the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Where you request steps towards a contract with you personally, Article 6(1)(b) applies.
Name, email address and project details are needed to submit the form; company name is optional. You may contact us by email instead. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not sell enquiry information or use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Storage and service providers
Enquiries are stored in a private database and are available to the authorized MR-COM portal account. Vercel provides website hosting and Turso provides database infrastructure; the enquiry database is configured in Dublin. GitHub provides authentication for the staff portal. Visitors do not need a GitHub account to send an enquiry.
Provider infrastructure and support may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Applicable provider data-processing terms describe the safeguards for international transfers. Provider information: Vercel privacy notice and Turso privacy policy. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries while they are needed to handle the request and any resulting business relationship. Further retention may be necessary for contractual obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Closing an enquiry does not automatically delete it. Contact us to request deletion of information that is no longer required.
Cookies and staff access
This website does not include advertising trackers or marketing analytics. Essential authentication and security cookies support staff sign-in. The portal uses the authorized account’s GitHub identity to verify access; GitHub has its own privacy notice for activity on its service.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send your request to info@mr-com.org. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or your local data protection authority.
